der Zeitunterschied kommt daher, daß bei den späteren Aktualisierungen, Windows schon vieles im Cache hat; seitens Silverjuke ist da wenig zu optimieren - es werden auch jetzt nur die Dateien eingelesen, dessen Änderungsdatum entspr. verändert wurde. Im Vergleich mit ähnlichen Programmen schneidet Silverjuke bei der Aktualisierungsgeschwindigkeit übrigens auch recht gut ab.

Eine Möglichkeit ist allerdings, bestimmte Ordner/Quellen bei der Aktualisierung auszuschließen, s. "Mein Musikarchiv / Optionen / Ordner in den Aktualisierungsprozess einbeziehen".

Allerdings nur, bis der Rechner neu gestartet wird. Nach einem Neustart säbelt er wieder langsamer herum. Gibts eine Einstellung, das zu ändern?

Es stört mich selbst nicht so sehr, aber dieser Punkt kommt immer wieder zur Sprache, wenn ich jemanden SJ schmackhaft machen möchte.
