und der SJ wird von folgendem Pfad ausgeführt \\NAS_Name\Share2\Silverjuke
Schreibrechte sollten vorhanden sein, die Datenbank wird ja brav befüllt - am Share1 sind auch Schreibrechte eingetragen...

Die Idee dahinter war halt, SJ von verschiedenen PC´s auszuführen, ohne das SJ lokal installiert ist!

vermutlich ist der verwendete Pfad für Silverjuke eine URL, von der ausgegangen wird, daß dort für gewöhnlich Daten gelesen werden können, aber nichts geschrieben werden kann (wie genau lautet denn der von Ihnen verwendete Pfad?).

In diesen Fällen verwendet Silverjuke dann das Verzeichnis mycovers - dieses wird immer in dem Verzeichnis angelegt, in dem auch die Datenbank mymusic.db abgelegt ist. Also z.B. c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Ihr Name\Anwendungsdaten\Silverjuke\mycovers

Wenn Sie die mymusic.db z.B. mittels --db an einen anderen Ort verschieben, werden auch die Covers an einem anderen Ort gespeichert werden.

Alternativ können Sie das Musikarchiv auch über einen Laufwerksbuchstaben einbinden oder die neuen Covers manuell im Verzeichnis mit den Alben ablegen.

Folgendes Problem: Ich habe Silverjuke in der portable Version auf ein NAS installiert - eine Freigabe ist für das Silverjuke Verzeichnis, eine andere Freigabe ist für die MediaDaten!

Das Musikarchiv ist als FQDN-Pfad eingetragen (ohne LW-Buchstabe) und soweit funktioniert alles recht gut!

Allerdings werden neue Covers nur im SJ-Verzeichnis in "mycovers" gespeichert - bei der Auswahl mit rechter Maustaste - Cover speichern unter - gibt SJ nicht den Pfad des Albums an...

Meine Frage - ich habs nicht gefunden - muss ich bei dieser Konfiguration noch irgendwo für die Covers einen Pfad eintragen?

SJ Version ist übrigens noch die "alte" 2.51!
