das Feature ist in der Tat recht neu und funktioniert erst ab der Version 2.70 - aus dem :

wenn Sie die Coveranzeige per Doppelklick auf das kleine Cover im Display (neben der Warteschlange) öffnen, wird bei einem Titelwechsel auch zum aktuellem Cover gewechselt.

Das automatische öffnen der Coveranzeige selbst ist derzeit nicht direkt möglich, einige Skins bieten hier aber ähnliche Optionen.
