zunächst: Willkommen an Bord!

Zu den Covers:

- Silverjuke liest Covers aus den Verzeichnissen, in denen auch die Musikdateien liegen und aus den ID3-Tags. Neu Cover werden immer im Verzeichnis der Musikdateien geschrieben.

- iTunes liest und schreibt Covers - soweit wir wissen - nur aus den ID3-Tags.

-> Wenn Sie die Cover also in den ID3-Tags vorhalten, werden diese von Silverjuke und von iTunes erkannt werden. Ablegen können Sie die Covers dort mit iTunes oder mit auf ID3-Tags spezialisierten Programmen.

Zu den Playlisten:

- beiden Programme können M3U-Playlisten lesen und schreiben, hierüber ist ein Austausch also Grundsätzlich möglich

- Silverjuke versucht zudem fehlerhafte Dateipfade automatisch anzupassen

- Die "Intelligenten Playlists" in iTunes bzw. die "Musikauswahlen" in Silverjuke sind zueinander allerdings nicht kompatibel; auch hier bleibt dann nur der Weg über M3U-Playlists.

Ich teste gerade SJ und habe auch vor eine Lizenz zu kaufen.
Nun erstelle ich eine komplett neue Musiksammlung inkl. Playlisten, Albuncovern etc.

Kann ich mir eine neue Library in iTunes erstellen und dort meine Playlists erstellen, cover zufügen etc.? Oder kann ich die Listen dann nicht in SJ übernehmen?
