Nein, wenn es nur um das Abspielen von MP3-Dateien geht, i.d.R. nicht. Darüberhinaus können Winamp-kompatible Module auch ohne Winamp-Installation von Silverjuke verwendet werden, wenn die DLLs in einem der unter "Einstellungen / Grundkonfiguration / Module / Suchpfade" angegebenen Schnittstellen liegen.

Ja, z.B. für diverse Audioformate, die von Windows selbst nicht unterstützt werden wie MPC, MP3plus etc. oder für Visualisierungen (wobei der "Sinn" da natürlich Geschmacksache ist). Eine Übersicht finden Sie unter http://forum.silverjuke.net/

Sie haben recht, das werde ich in einer zukünftigen Version von Silverjuke anders regeln, evtl. kann dann auch komplett auf die Datei verzichtet werden.

Leider kann ich Ihre Schilderung in meinen Testumgebungen bislang nicht nachvollziehen, so daß genauere Hinweise zum Absturz auf Ihrem Rechner hilfreich wären:

- Fehlerbeschreibung beim Absturz?

- Gibt es eine Nachricht beim nächsten Start von Silverjuke über die mögliche Absturzursache? (Hierbei ist es wichtig, daß Silverjuke mit denselben Parametern, insb. also der INI-Datei, erneut gestartet wird)

Vielleicht ist es das Einfachste, wenn Sie mir die entspr. Screenshots direkt an drsilver AT silverjuke.net mailen.

starte, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung s.o. und SJ stürzt sofort ab.
Es wird danach eine Silverjuke.ini angelegt. Aber in der mysettings.ini steht nix neues drin.

Naja, spätestens wenn Silverjuke einmal gestartet und wieder beendet wurde, sollten in der Datei eine ganze Reihe von Einstellungen zu finden sein (von Silverjuke eingetragen).

Wird die gewünschte INI-Datei denn wirklich von Silverjuke verwendet? Sie können den Pfad zur Konfigurationsdatei im laufenden Programm unter "Einstellungen / Grundkonfiguration / Weitere Optionen / Dateien: Konfigurationsdatei" überprüfen.

Die Datei wird von Silverjuke beim Programmstart immer automatisch in das Benutzerverzeichnis z.B. nach "c:Dokumente und EinstellungenAdministratorAnwendungsdatenSilverjuke" geschrieben; in der Datei werden keine Einstellungen o.ä. abgelegt, so daß diese Datei z.B. nicht mit auf Wechseldatenträger übernommen werden muß. Kurz: die Existenz dieser Datei kann man schlicht ignorieren.
