Unter http://forum.silverjuke.net/viewtopic.php?p=11129#p11129 finden Sie eine Silverjuke-basierte Fernbedienung für Silverjuke. Falls hier ein Web-Entwickler ist, der die Webseite einer entspr. Fernbedienunng entwickeln kann, könnte ich dies zu meinem Plugin hinzufügen. Da dies alles aber nicht trivial ist, bräuchte ich jemanden, mit dem ich auf Englisch kommunizieren könnte; mein Deutsch ist nicht gut genug.

(Sorry for the English post, I won't make a habbit out if it but this is too complicated for me to translate).

At http://forum.silverjuke.net/viewtopic.php?p=11129#p11129 you'll find a Silverjuke-based remote. If there is a webdeveloper here who can do the web-side of a remotecontrol, I could probably easily add it to my networkplugin to have a web-based remote. But as this is not trivial I do need someone who can communicate in English, my German is just not good enough..

Wo immer möglich vermeiden wir daher auch solche "Terminaussagen", leider nicht immer.

An dieser Stelle auch ein Kompliment an die Silverjuke-User, die hier zu fast 100% gute Vorschläge liefern - weiter so! Was möglich ist, versuchen wir umzusetzen, ansonsten bitten wir um Verständnis, daß wir hier auch nicht beliebig viele Resourcen zur Verfügung haben.

Sicher können Sie jedoch sein, daß wir jeden Post und jede E-Mail lesen - wnngleich wir es auch nicht immer zu einer Antwort schaffen.

(hatte auch bis vor kurzen noch so ne 500er gurke). Alleine das DB-Update dauert wohl etwas länger als auf ner größeren Maschine...

VNC ansicht schluckt jedenfalls nur absehbar viel CPU-Zeit, imho ;-)

Dieser Tip ist echt Gold wert! Genau das, was ich gesucht habe!
Hatte ja schon von VNC gehört, mich aber noch nie damit beschäftigt. Nach Deinem Tip habe ich ein wenig gegoogled (nettes neudeutsches Wort :-? ) und mir schließlich TightVNC runtergeladen und installiert. Funktioniert wirklich tadellos, werde aber wohl auf Dauer für meinen "Silverjuke-Server" ´nen größeren Rechner brauchen. Mein alter 500er Pentium III mit gerade mal 128 MB Ram den ich bisher als Jukebox-PC nutze kommt da schon arg in´s Schwitzen. Noch zwei oder drei VST-Plugins und womöglich mit aktivierter Visualisierung und man kann sich zwischen Anwahl eines Titels und Abspielbeginn mal eben ´nen Kaffee kochen gehen :-P ...
Na, vielleicht erhört uns das Silverjuke-Team ja doch noch und bringt ´ne resourcenschonendere Möglichkeit raus, die Jukebox über´s Netzwerk steuern zu können :roll: ...
In der Zwischenzeit spendiere ich meinem Rechner zumindest mal ´nen zusätzlichen Speicherriegel, vielleicht hilfts ja was.
