I have recently enabled the multimedia keyboard support function within SJ and it works fine with my Microsoft Internet Keyboard which has buttons for changing tracks/volume etc.
However, I am also streaming the audio from my PC to the living room using a device from Azurewave (www.azurewave.com) model number AW-GA200. The audio streams perfectly but the device also comes with a remote controller which sends commands back to the PC to change tracks/volume etc. When I press the NEXT TRACK button the track IS advanced to the next one BUT Windows Media Player then runs and intercepts all future command from the remote controller.
It would appear that the AW-GA200 will only control the DEFAULT media player on the PC. I can change the default media device on my PC to a number of other players I have installed such as MusicMatch Jukebox or RealPlayer BUT I can't use SJ as it is not presented as an option if the Windows XP Program Access defaults page.
So my question is "can SJ be configured as the default media device in Windows XP", as there are no options to change the commands that the remote control sends out.
Many thanks
