the described behaviour is only true if the user is allowed to use the "Prev" and "Next" buttons. These buttons are only allowed if the "Edit queue" functionality is enabled explicitly.

If this is done, it is normal that the "Next" button works as described, in our opinion ;-)

However, the combination of Credit system enabled and Edit queue allowed seems very unusual to us.

If in doublt, please untick the "Edit queue" functionality at "Settings / Kiosk mode"; this should make your credit system work as expected:
