For Silverjuke, this album is a compilation, and compilations have no lead artist. And this behaviour is not wrong: A mixed album or "Artist A" and "Artist A+B" has no unique lead artist.

However, your workaround should be fine. Maybe you can add the missing artist in the field "Original arist" or in the comments section.

Yes, as it is used rather seldom and as it is not supported in all tagging formats.

Finally, we want to keep the whole stuff simple ;-) There will always be situation where the database/tagging model cannot be used - just because it is a model.
