First off, I think there should be a button added to the main control area (maybe next to the PAGE LEFT PAGE RIGHT buttons) that would turn on and off this feature (stop and start)
In the Album/Track view, when this option is started(whether it get turned on through inactivity, a button press, or being set permanently on)... The Album workspace would move (at a configurable speed) from A to #, and then restart at A once it completed its cycle.
<--Functionality and Behavior--->
-It would be similar to a never ending/continual CLICK AND DRAG
-When the user clicks in the Album workspace the scroll would
stop (User sees an album they want and clicks to stop it)
-When they want to continue browsing, click the 'Continual
Scroll Button' and it takes off again
-There may be a slider (options or on the main screen) that
allows the user or admin to change the auto scroll speed.
*I really think this would be a nice feature that a lot of people would use. As well, I am not sure about how long an average touchscreen works, but this would reduce the amount of 'touches' on the actual screen in more than half if it was used often.
If you have any more questions or need more clarification please feel free to let me know.. I am more than willing to give more feedback or discuss it more if its not fully understood.Statistics: Posted by rugbykid — 20. Feb 08, 15:55
