I agree the 'edit queue' was not really intuitive. But the 'unqueue tracks' is quite clearly whwat you are looking for :-)

But seriously: I originally just disabled everything, and only selectively enabled what I felt a 'party-user' should be allowed to do. Worked better that way for me.

Must be some confusion here, kioskmode (what you call 'Real Jukebox') is what its all about with Silverjuke:

1) start Silverjuke
2) rightclick -> 'Settings...' -> top button 'Kiosk Mode'
3) tab 'functionality' -> turn off 'edit queue'
4) button 'start'

See for all the other nice things Silverjuke can do for you :-)
