- My database included among others one folder with .m4a audio files.
- I converted those files to .mp3
- Now the database seems unable to update correctly, since the files have the same name, though different extensions. The database reads the files, and plays them. But it states ?:?? for the time length of those files.
I have then deleted the database itself (in ..Application DataSilverjuke) and all .tmp files, in order to rebuild the database. Impossible! The scanning goes very quickly, as if it got its data from elsewhere...
I have then completely uninstalled Silverjuke. Cleaned the Registry with RegSupreme (practically nothing, in fact: clean uninstall).
Then I reinstalled Silverjuke, started all over from the beginning: same problem! The scanning just 'flies' over the modified audio files, as before.
So my question is: where is the data to be removed in order to enable a clean install and a clean database scanning?
I've spent 4 hours on this. Impossible to get a solution, unless I change the folder with the modified extensions' files ...
Thanks for your advice.Statistics: Posted by Nirvana — 18. Jul 05, 06:38
