turns out to be share permissions strange as i did not get any issues before upgrading from my old pre newer versions

Thanks for the advice It runs on Windows 7 all music and database is running on my old windows 2003 server. My pc upstairs also on Windows 7 does not get an issue. Both are member of the same group that gives rights to the folder containing global.ini and the database. I'm going to play around with ...

Forget sql errors for a moment the fact it's not storing my registration details is probably the same reason I'm getting the sql errors. Where do your registration details get stored? If I can work out why that's not working i feel that would fix sql errors I'm guessing it's a rights issue some wher...

I can assure you that my settings where such as it had the option to choose from my whole collection. I have seen it do similar before.

how to create a script to export current track info a file
Thanks for the help with another post managed to get the data I need and was able to now get this on lcd screen on my pc via lcd smartie and it read a text file function. Would rather control my lcd via code though as lcd smartie can only be bodged as a 1 line display which my imon lcd is not.
