LCD / VFD?

Is anyone using an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) or VFD (Vacuum Flourescent Display) with Silverjuke?

I have a 2x20 VFD connected via COM1 and have tried various methods (numerous Winamp plugins, LCD Smartie, LCDHype, VFDThinger, and many more) for displaying Artist Name, Track Title and Time Remaining. I am keen to use VFD instead of LCD because I want to be able to see this information from "across the room", so to speak.

I can get it working, but it does not see the VFD as 2 separate display lines. In fact it mirrors whatever is output on the top line to the bottom line, and vice versa.

Perhaps the VFD I am using is not suitable? If so, is anyone able to recommend one?

Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

You're telling, that you'll get it working somehow. Can you please tell us how you get these information from the Silverjuke application so that we can see if we add a better support for this?

I get it to work through winamp plugins, LCD Smartie for example. Direct support would be great.
