Maybe a little explanation of the shuffle function first ...

If you set the "Shuffle intensity" at "Settings / Playback / Shuffle" to 100%, Silverjuke chooses any random song out of the available, not yet played, songs. This is the behaviour known from most other players; however, also make sure the shuffle mode is really enabled in the main window:

If you set the "Shuffle intensity" to a value smaller than 100%, Silverjuke regards not all but only the next eg. 25%, 50% or 75% percents of the available, not yet played songs. That's all what the "Shuffle intensity" slider does, and I think the function works as described. To test this, you can enqueue eg. 10 songs and hit "next" some times.

If there are any questions left, we would be glad if you post them here again.

Best regards,
Your Silverjuke Team
