Hi,
I am having a problem with mp3s with bitrates at 56K and below. They appear to be playing, but there is no sound. If I skip to another track everything is fine and sound comes back. This is a very small part of my 20,000+ song collection, but I would really like these songs to play. Is there another decoder or something I need? Thanks
P.S. I used to use eJukebox, but it required way to much overhead for my collection. SilverJuke is running great on a Celeron 700mhz with 512 memory, and I'm getting a touchscreen real soon!

Re: bitrate issue
Hello Karl2000,
as you've written yourself, only a "very small part" of your MP3-files have these errors - therefore, we would assume the files theirselves are erroneous. If some of the files play well in other players - this is no hint, the files are okay. There are also some files that fail other players and work well in Silverjuke.
Our tip: Maybe you have the chance to recode (repair) the files or to encode (rip) them again?
Best regards,
Your Silverjuke Team
PS: Welcome aboard!

Re: bitrate issue
OK, so it is not a SilverJuke issue. I put a trial of SilverJuke on another computer and everything works perfect. Must be asoundcard issue or something. I will have to try recoding the files. Thanks.
