I'm experimenting with making mysettings.ini read-only but when Silverjuke closes the console opens, displaying:
Error: can't remove file 'C:\Program Files\Silverjuke\mysettings.ini' (error 5: access is denied.)
Error: Failed to update user configuration file.
Error: can't remove file 'C:\Program Files\Silverjuke\mysettings.ini' (error 5: access is denied.)
Error: Failed to update user configuration file.
Of course, Silverjuke will have these errors but I have set in /tools/console for Silverjuke's console NOT to open on errors. This option seems to be ignored. Is there a way around this?
Thanks.

Re: How to disable 'open console on error'?
I have been able to get everything that I want working without the use of a config file except the selection of a custom skin I created. I know the desired skin can be selected and saved in the registry or in a config file but is there any way to specify a skin directly from the command line? I haven't seen an option for this so I am assuming not.
Thanks.

Never mind, all. Problem solved. All I have to do is hard-code the desired settings in the the config file, write a batch file that copies the config file to a writable location, point Silverjuke to the copy of the config file and all works!
