As far as I know, there is no limit in the size of the dataabase, 100,000 songs should be no problem, normally.
Maybe the database file is out of order?
You can recreate it completely with the following steps:
- exit Silverjuke
- rename C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Silverjuke\mymusic.db eg. to mymusic.db.bak (later you may decide to delete the *.bak file)
- start Silverjuke and press F5 immediately, this will recreate mymusic.db (Silverjuke still knows the folders to search in, they're stored in the registry, not in the db-file)
Maybe this will solve the problem. Please note that with the recreation of the database file, volume calculations and your ratings will be lost.
If the recreation does not help to solve your problem, you can rename mymusic.db.bak again to mymusic.db

B.

Re: Silverjuke not updating Database correctly
IThis is the way I update the Database. It reads all the files on the drive but only adds about 35%. I have spent a whole day running chkdsk on the drive fixing any errors with corrupt file and/or VTOC errors but it found none. I have tried about 3 times now to no avail. I dont want to delete and totally recreate because I use SQL script searches to determine when music was added to the collection. If I delete and recreate I will lose all this info. I have an old copy of the mymusic/db file which I continue to replace before each time I try the update. I will try a delete and complete rebuild to see if that works, but would love a solution so as not to lose all my info.

Re: Silverjuke not updating Database correctly
First: Post the error-messages!
This would help a lot
What you can do is:
a) Put these 20 albums in one directory
b) Build a new database file, only for this directory (deep update!)
c) If Silverjuke adds all albums correctly - we have to look at further
d) If it adds only a few albums from this directory - remove these albums from this directory and continue with b).
e) At the end you got the album which should raises the problem.
Maybe it is only one track corrupt so you can continue with each song in that album
