Can't search for Original Artist

Can't search for Original Artist

If I have data in the Original Artist field then do a search for that data using Silverjuke's search function, I get no results. Is this how it's supposed to work? I have a lot of classical music and since there is no Conductor field, I thought I'd use the Original Artist field for that purpose. However, that does not allow me to search for conductors. Is there a work-around?
