First official version with video support!
The first official version with Video Support is out for Linux! There may be some bugs left, but, all in all, rock solid!

Re: First official version with video support!
Hi team,
(Pity the old RSS feeds are gone - any change of bringing RSS back? Or is there any other way to get notifications of all forum activity? I missed this promising post by a month!)
Any idea about timeframe of a windows release with video? Are you use the same video library as with linux or is going to be completely different for windows? Reason I ask is that the previous windows experiment was not exactly 'rock solid' as you very promising claim the current linux version to be
Cheers,
SilverEagle

Re: First official version with video support!
Hi SilverEagle,
the RSS feeds are available at
feed.php for new forum posts,
feed.php?mode=topics for new forum topics and
http://www.silverjuke.net/en/rss is the "official" feed.
Regarding the next Windows version: It will have
-
-
- probably a with FIR-filters (or another equalizer, however, the mentioned one is our favorite)
The version is available already for Linux, the equalizer is not yet ready, however, we expect the version this month.
Regarding Video: Yes, the Linux video support is very stable and we want something similar for windows. As long as this is not ready, windows won't have video support.
We won't ship the old unstable stuff again.
Of course, we have some ideas and approaches for the windows video implementation, however, currently it is not clear how long it will take to get a working solution.
Best regards

Re: First official version with video support!
Regarding Video Support - a cool feature would be able to search for a youtube Video according to the title playing and select what to use for playing - so like the user selects the songs from the Library and if a video is found it will be played on the secondary screen.
