I'm no Linux-expert, however, I think it is a good idea to post the whole log here - you can attach it to the post, if it is too long.

I would also start with a simple ./autogen.sh - if this succeeds, you can continue to make

The used Linux version would also be helpful information. Silverjuke is known to compile fine at least on Debian and derived distributions (which includes Ubuntu)

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm gonna post the list in this thread, maybe somebody will see what's causing the problem.
My Linux distro is openSuse Leap 42.1

Okay, openSuse.

This distribution is known to have some problems when compiling wx, however, there is already someone working in this issue, see the branch https://github.com/r10s/silverjuke/tree ... containers
