However, currently, http://www.freedb.org is online again and is working. If you use freedb in Silverjuke and if you have any problems, you can easily switch to one of the freedb mirrors or compatible services:

To use a mirror, enter the server name to "Settings / Advanced / Further options / Online database: Server name" and click on "OK".

Hopefully, the service will continue to exists in future - otherwise, we have to search for possible alternatives.
