I'm trying the trial version and am having problems:
When I first started SJ it told me to drag the music folder to the UI (I have FLAC files and one set of OGG files). I did that but SJ did some weird things
(I will call a CD that I have ripped a "set of song files")
1. One set of song files (all FLAC) was split across three different albums. All of these had title from freedb so I can see them easily. I wish I could just click and drag them together into the correct album, but it doesn't let me.
2.Two sets of song files (all FLAC) were combined into one album. One set had all the titles from freedb and another did not have any titles because freedb couldn't find the album. So the file names are completely different. Why does SJ combine them together? And why did it split up my other files across 3 different albums? How do I fix all of this?
SJ mixed up all my songs into different albums

Re: SJ mixed up all my songs into different albums
Hello guest,
all this sounds quite normal:
Silverjuke always tries to create logical albums of all given files. As there is normally no "hard" criterion for this, Silverjuke uses its own algorithm for this, see the chapter in the .
However, if you have oranized you music files strictly as "One album - one folder", you can try the option "directory" at "Settings / My music library / Combine tracks to albums":
Maybe this setting will fit your needs.
Best regards,

Re: SJ mixed up all my songs into different albums
I think this may be a www.freedb.org issue where it is giving each song slightly different tags. One song had the artist as "Bela Felck1" and the others that were in a different album had the artist as "Bela Fleck". Have you seen issues with freedb before?
