Re: Tripex 3 Visualization
don't work !!!
Re: Tripex 3 Visualization
Well, I've tried a couple of times and can't get SilverJuke to recognize Tripex3 after copying the files to the c:\program files\silverjuke folder.
Skinner, did you actually get Tripex3 to work in Silverjuke? Has anyone got it to work?
There are two versions of Tripex3, v3.06 and v3.12, neither seemed to work. Too bad, because it's still one of the best visualizations out there.

Thank you, Skinner. We will check this before the next release.

Thanks Skinner! I got it to work! And so far it seems to work fine. :)
So, for a bit of a summary:
1.
- or a newer version -
2. Install Tripex3 to your Winamp Directory and copy the following files ...
C:\Programs\Winamp\Plugins\vis-tx3.dll
C:\Programs\Winamp\Plugins\vis-tx3.rtf
... to c:\Programs\Silverjuke\
3. Rename "vis-tx3.dll" to "vis_tx3.dll" (change the minus to an underscore - Silverjuke seems to identify visualizations by the prefix "vis_".
As Silverjuke caches some DLL-types in the registry, you may need to delete the stuff at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Silverjuke\modulecache"
using RegEdit. (In my case I had an entry for Tripex3 in the modulecache already from a previous attempt to install it. I just deleted that Tripex3 entry and closed regedit.)
4. After you have (re)started Silverjuke, you can select the visualization by pressing the right mouse button on the little vis. icon in the display. The visualization's configuration is available at "Settings / Advanced / Further options".
Good Luck!
