Searching Artist + title query...

Hi,

When searching with Silverjuke, I notice that I can either search for a song title or and Artist, but not both.

For example, typing "suspicious minds" in the search box gives me the song I'm after, but typing "elvis suspicious minds" returns nothing.

Is there a way to alter the behaviour so it will search across both Artist and Title fields?

No, for the default "simple" search, currently, this is not possible. You can search for artist, album or title, not for a combination of these fiels.

As an alternative, please have a look at the which have much more possibilities.

Thanks for the quick reply. Music Selections is handy, but not in the purpose where you are looking for a track where you know the artist but not the full track name.

In very large collections, searching just by artist is not that useful if you have lots of material by them.

Any chance of having such an option added somewhere?

Not today, but your suggestion ... sooner or later, we will probably update the search ...
