In an earlier post sombody mentiond the mp3 tag problem, i to have problems when changing the artists name ore 4 that mether change an album , everything works fine. But after updating ore ading a new album everything changes back.
Is it possible in S-juke to adjust the settings to what tags silverjuke is watching ?
It seems that even when i remove all the taggs with an external programme
MP3 tag. Than still it changes back so idont know where S-juke is looking 4 tags
I have a registerd version, and it starts to drive me mad.
I worked 4 two days to get everything named propperlie(3000 albums)
To see that 20 % of the work was in vain.
Still this is the best sounding player out there, so if there is an option to let S-juke look at a particular tag, i think it would solve all my problems, and if not maybee this could be added in a future update.
Thanks in Advance D.

Re: SilverJuke and Tags
Are you sure you have set the option "Write (ID3-)Tags" at "Edit dialog > Menu" always on? I have no problems for this.
As an alternative, you can also change all tags with your favorite external app and press the F5 key in Silverjuke to take all changes over.

B.

thanks 4 the reply, but even when i change everything in an external app. and press the f5 key it seems to work till a new update, and then it changes back.
I,m getting pritie desperate (its now day 4 and the 20 % that does not work, still wont work in the renaming tags internal ore external)
What to do (im a idiot who wants everything named correctly)

Re: SilverJuke and Tags
Maybe the 20% left are no MP3 files? Silverjuke can read the tags from *many* formats, but writes only a few.

Re: SilverJuke and Tags
Yea but the external app writes everything, mp3 flac mp4 ogg
I looked at those file formats aswell.
The Thing is if silverjuke cant write them it says so.
Thats wy i went 4 an external app. in the first place.
even when i remove them from the librarie, and put them back it still changes back to somthing i dindt put in there.

Re: SilverJuke and Tags
I downloaded a free music player called foobar. If you load in the problematic mp3s, you'll probably find that there's information in the metadata. If you remove this information, the id3 tags are removed as well, so you'll have to fill that information back in.
I just loaded in all my problematic mp3s and stripped them of all info, then I used my mp3 tagging program to re-enter the tags. It was not a pleasurable experience, but I finally got rid of all the metadata info.

Yep, but I haven't found one that suits my needs yet.
