BASS_VST is an addon written by Bjoern Petersen Software Design'n'Development for the BASS audio library. BASS_VST allows to use nearly any VST effect for DSP processing inside BASS.


Do I need BASS_VST if I want to use Silverjuke?

No - BASS_VST is a library for programmers and is not meant to be used directly by the end user. However, internally, Silverjuke also uses BASS_VST, but this is nothing a Silverjuke user has to worry about.

Where is a documentation for BASS_VST?

You'll find a little readme in the downloaded file; most of the documentation is placed directly in the BASS_VST header.


How much does it cost?

BASS_VST is free, there are no costs as long as you've licenced the BASS library itself.


Is the BASS_VST source code available?

No, BASS_VST is supposed to be used as a DLL. However, if you really need the source, feel free to - maybe we'll find a solution.

Since Version 2.4.0.2 BASS_VST also supports VST instruments (VSTi plugins).
