Re: Every time I try to import music folder Silverjuke break
Sorry, my friedn but i am not very familiar with english!
First of all:
1. Which kind of OS do you have (Win/Mac)
2. which kind of music files (mp3, wma ...)
3. How long is the path to the files
4. Maybe some corrupt mp3 files
Greetings Lindholm

Re: Every time I try to import music folder Silverjuke break
I would also assume some currupt mp3 files - Even if they can be played by the media player, they can be corrupt - there are other corrupt files that crash the media player and word well in Silverjuke ...
However, try to add only a part or your archive, then, step by step, add more until you find the folder with the error. Try over with the files in this folder.

Re: Every time I try to import music folder Silverjuke break
I had a problem that "update database" comsumed(?) nearly 400 MB of memory.
As I start silverjuke without "--skiperrors" I find out that the update failed on a new added album. So i deleted it.
Then I made a "rebuild database" to get a clean database.

Re: Every time I try to import music folder Silverjuke break
I have a similar problem. I had a number of folders that crashed Silverjuke. I could import all of the individual MP3 files without a problem. But if I selected the entire folder, "Silverjuke 2.51 has encountered a problem and needs to close"
The problem was .JPG files containing album art. The files were fine, but something about them caused Silverjuke to crash. I resampled them in photopaint and everything has been fine.
