Okay, this seems to be a bug in the external Nullsoft MPEG Decoder or the file is defect.
You can try to use another decoder in Silverjuke, eg. the , to enable it check the options for both decoders at "Settings/Basic settings/Modules".
And, again, if in doubt, please send us the erroneous file and we will check it here.

Re: Some MP3s are played too slowly
Thanks. I don't know much about these things but I find it puzzling that Winamp will play the same track at the correct speed and presumably WinAmp will use the Nullsoft decoder. It also suggests it's not a defective file.
To what address should I send the file?
Regards
David

Hello, yes it sounds all a little bit strange, but if you send a test file to drsilver@silverjuke.net we may find out the problem here.

Re: Some MP3s are played too slowly
Was any resolution found on this problem? I am experiencing it too. Although it is just on one particular machine. Same mp3 copied to another machine works fine. So it can't be the mp3 file. I have managed to tie it back to some CDs that were recently ripped with Windows media player at 128Kbps. Any mp3s on that machine encoded at say 320Kbps play fine. So whilst one machine is happy to play all mp3s correctly, one is only happy to play mp3s ripped at higher bit rates. To add to this the "unhappy" machine is a lower hardware spec.
Hope this helps. I will just make sure I rip all my CDs at 320Kbps. I mean disk space is not really a problem.
