Bill acceptors/Credit system
Im interest in purchashing your terminal version but is silverjuke compatible with bill acceptors?

The official version (1.14): No.
The current beta-version (1.15beta7, available in the beta test forum at http://forum.silverjuke.net/ ) and the next official version: Yes.
In the new versions, there is a new tab "Settings/Kiosk mode/Credit system" where you can enable the credit system of Silverjuke. Doing so, you have to configure your favourite coin or bill acceptor to tell Silverjuke when a coin/bill is inserted and how many tracks this will credit. The easiest way to do this is using the command line, see viewtopic.php?p=352#352 .
This method makes Silverjuke to interact with all possible coin or bill acceptors. However, for future versions, we've planned to support some of the most spreaded acceptors more directly.

The credit system as described above is now also available in the official Silverjuke Version 1.16 or larger; you'll find more details about this in the .
Moreover, we've just added a poll to this thread - you're welcome to tell us your opinion about the credit/billing system.
EDIT: Now, there are also some modules supporting coin acceptors available in the download section.
