Time Machine Skin

Hi,

Wouldn't it be nice to travel up and down through time?
In your music catalogue I mean.
Here's a script to do just that.
I've added this script to the skin.
With some effort you can add it to any other skin.
Just try it and see if you like it.

Tip: Setting automatic play to select a track from the current view increases the effect of time travelling.

One drawback: the script and the skin abuse the microphone volume to record the current year and to allow the use of a fancy slider.
So don't use the Time Machine in combination with a microphone.
A welcome side-effect is that you can use the script stand alone (without adapted skin) in combination with the default microphone slider.

One more hint: be sure that change to the microphone volume level is allowed in kiosk mode (check settings, kiosk mode).

I've added a screenshot, the adapted skin and the stand-alone script (which is zipped in the skin as well).

I love this skin and have been using it for years. PLEASE update it to have seperate I and J buttons!!! I am and Iron Maiden and Jethro Tull fan among others and have about 50 albums in the I/J section and it drives me nuts that I can't go straight to J.
