Hello,
I've got silverjuke installed on a mac with osx version 10.4.11.
I have installed and registered silverjuke correctly and without problems.
I downloaded the converters for m4a files (libbas_aac.dylib & libbass_alac.dylib) and put them in the users:username:library:application support: silverjuke directory. Then I loaded the music library from a map on my external harddrive.
Everything seems to work, but when I double click to play a song it keeps loading and loading, doesn't give any error and doesn't play the song. If I don't force the program to quit it can keep loading for hours and doesn't do anything. I reinstalled the entire program quit a few times but it didn't fix the problem. I can't solve the problem and would really like some help.
Can someone from the tech support help me, or someone with the same problem?
Thanks A Lot.
I've got another mac with the same osx version and same musiclibrary installed also on a external harddrive. The silverjuke program on this mac gives an error that it cannot acces the converters libbas_aac.dylib and libbas_alac.dylib.
Could someone form the tech support or someone with the same problem help me with this problem too? (I've reinstalled the converters a several times but didn't fix it)
Thanks Again.

Re: silverjuke keeps loading and doesn't play the songs
Everything loads, the searchpaths are correct, everyting is installed correctly but silverjuke doesn't load libbass.dylib version 2.2 even when I put in a loading line in the mysettings.ini
Maybe that's the problem? I am very pleased with your response. I believe we're almost there. But could use some guiding in how to get libbass.dylib 2.2 working correctly.

Re: silverjuke keeps loading and doesn't play the songs
Hello!
"libbass.dylib" is no plugin a sort of a "plugin loader"; it is not displayed by default and can be ignored.
to the *.m4a files: *.m4a is - it can contain eg. AAC, ALAC or sth. else - even DRM protected stuff or videos? If some files do work, there is a good chance, that the files are no ALAC files. If you like, you can mail us one example so that we can have a look at the file here in our labs - however, this may take some time.
Best regards,
Your Silverjuke Team
