Silverjuke 15.8 auto playback behaviour (solved)

Hi,

I've just installed V15.8 (windows version).
I used to let SJ autoplay tracks without using the Kios mode.
With V3.4 this works fine, all tracks are randomly played.
With V15.8 however, SJ keeps playing the same track over and over again.
What might be going wrong?

we've just checked this and currently, we cannot reproduce it.

We've used the following autoplay settings:

Maybe your AutoPlay Music-Selection contains only one or very few tracks? Or is set to "Recently played" and few was played before?

Thank you for the details, however, we still don't got the issue.
What happens if you uncheck the "Ignore tracks" option?
Will Silverjuke still play the same track over and over?

I've tested with the following settings:

"Ignore tracks" option checked --> same track gets played over and over again
"Ignore tracks" option unchecked --> same track gets played over and over again

"Ignore tracks" option unchecked and play xxx trackes set to 500 --> same track gets played over and over again
"Ignore tracks" option unchecked and play xxx trackes set to 0 --> same track gets played over and over again

Okay, thank you for the information, we will keep this in mind. However, again, currently we cannot reproduce it; on our machines everything is just fine.

Update:

After using the --ini option, setting up the autoplay settings and refreshing the database SJ 15.8 runs as expected.
I'll do some more research and hopefully we will find what is causing the issue (might be difficult now it's working).

Update II:
Not using the --ini option returns the error/problem.
Is it possible to compare the --ini settings with the "default settings" somehow (I cannot find the settings for SJ 15.8 in the registry, only those from SJ 3.4)?

okay, maybe there was an erroneous settings file causing the error? However, nice to hear that it works after all.

Regarding the registry, for comparision: The new Silverjuke 15.8 does no longer use the registry, settings are saved to c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Silverjuke\globals.ini or to the file specified by the --ini option.
